How did you choose your derby name & number?

A fun thing to do and a major stress reliever for me is gambling, so with the help of my teammates came up with my name.

What led you to roller derby?
I have always played seasonal sports and was ready to try something different that was weekly/year round so I could be part of a on going community! Something not - normal!

What was your biggest hurdle when you first started derby?

The game its self was my biggest hurdle. I have never played a contact sport, and I had to get over the fact that i am suppose to hit people on purpose!

What does being a South Jersey Roller Derby member mean to you?

Being part of something that is not only fun, but a community that is full of great people who get along better than I have seen in a long time!

What would you recommend for a new rookie joining the league?

Give it your all!!

What is your derby goal?

To be better than I was last week!
 

Any notes you'd like to share?

As you get older life becomes calmer and not so "fun".... roller derby has given fun back to my life! I love this team and think all of my teammates are awesome!
