Formed by two local sisters in 2006, South Jersey Roller Derby has grown from only a handful of girls skating at local parks to one of the area's largest leagues with nearly 100 members.

 

An overwhelming interest led the league in October 2007 to open its membership to include men, and we haven't looked back since. Our awesome male skaters and big brothers make up Shove City Roller Derby . South Jersey Derby is a proud Class 1 member of the Modern Athletic Derby Endeavor (MADE), the world-leader in co-ed derby.

Since we are co-ed, we compete in three divisions of games:

* Men's
* Co-ed

SJRD has a reputation for hard-hitting blockers and fast-dodging jammers. Our game is a fast-paced, no theatrics wallop.  The league hosts A, B and C Travel Teams.
